How this is calculated: Monthly revenue = visitors x conversion rate x AOV. We multiply by 12 for annual. Revenue lift is the delta versus your current baseline. ROI = (annual lift minus investment) divided by investment, then times 100. Payback is investment divided by monthly lift.
What to do with this number: If a plus 1 percentage point conversion lift pays back your redesign within 6 months, redesigning is almost always the right call.
